Pregnancy Pilates
The body undergoes incredible physical, emotional and hormonal changes during pregnancy. Maintaining your body’s tone and condition is critical to the challenging changes a pregnant woman’s body goes through. However pregnancy is not the time to try and get super fit – your priority is purely maintenance of a fitness level that is not only safer but also an advantage for the mother and child.
Many women find Pilates one of the best forms of exercise to do both during and after pregnancy. Our pregnancy Pilates program is a safe, well – thought out exercise program that will prepare your body and mind for an easier birthing process as well as a rapid recovery time.
Some of the benefits of a specific pregnancy Pilates class:

• Pilates is more likely to influence the circulation to the fetus in a positive way.
• Improved breathing helping the expecting mother to remain relaxed and comfortable

• Increased circulation to the muscles & overall building core strength.
• If your abdominals, back and pelvic floor muscles are toned it will help support a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery.
Our classes are suitable for all women that are new or experienced in Pilates, the classes will run for 45 minutes. We do ask that you are past your first trimester and that you provide a letter of consent to participate in the Pregnancy Pilates from your GP, obstetrician or midwife.

1 class per week / 10 weeks $160 including 1x Pilates mat
